"Thank you for your hard work on my MacLaren treasures. My mother will be so happy with the lap rug. I love mine too. I have received so many compliments on my scarf. I wear it every day! . . . You did a fantastic job and you truly are a master weaver!"
- Vicki Homan, Anchorage, AK
"I have purchased a good number of products from 'A Tartan Weaver' and can say with some authority that the quality and workmanship cannot be matched! Molly is very easy to work with and always produces an individual work of Art. The old saying goes: 'you get what you pay for'. In this case, a wearable piece of Art."

hat is a Tartan? [and other Frequently Asked Questions]
Q. What is a Tartan?
A. A series of colored stripes running the length of the cloth (warp) that is reproduced exactly in the threads across the width of the cloth (weft). The color pattern is the point of emphasis and each particular combination (sett) distinguishes the different clan, family, dress, hunting and district tartans.
Q. What kind of looms do you use?
A. Click on My Looms for more information about my looms.
Q. How long does it take you to weave an item?
A. Each item is hand woven to your specifications, therefore the amount of time depends upon the item itself, as well as the type of yarn used. When you place your order, please let me know when you will need the finished product.
